Myths & Legends III shows that no distillery’s output is too famous or too precious to be blended. Whisky is about creativity and quality, not categories. We have taken some of the same parcels of malt whisky used in Myths & Legends II and added peated malt whiskies from a pair of celebrated island distilleries, one from Orkney and the other from Islay. Tropical fruits and butterscotch are now further enriched by a deep and enchantingly aromatic peat profile. Never blend the famous names? The breadth of complex flavours fuond in Myths & Legends III dismantles such superstitious thinkin. The Minotaur represents the legendary stature of the “famous” single malts. However, this Minotaur has left behind the darkness of the labyrinth. He got tired of his solitary confinement, preferring his new environment among the tropical plants of the label of Myths & Legends II. Please note that Myths & Legends III has been labelled with the incorrect bottling quantity. The number displayed on the neck label is 4,446 but should be 4,564.
