About the Whisky

This incredibly rare Speyside single malt was laid to rest at the Glendronach distillery on the 2nd March 1972, where it remained for the next 40 years maturing in the finest Oloroso Sherry butt before being bottled in December 2012 especially for La Maison Du Whisky. A beautifully complex and sherried expression drawn from cask number 713 at a natural strength 50.2% ABV, this is one of just 476 bottles that comes in fine condition - despite a few slight cosmetic scars on the original presentation case. Part of the ever-popular Single Cask range from Glendronach, this was awarded 92 points on WhiskyFun and went home with Supreme Winner title from The Malt Maniac Awards in 2012.
